IT Infrastructure Manager - Hertfordshire with some UK travel and EU travel - Јup to Ј40k plus benefits
Our client a consulting and technology company has a vacancy for a Group IT Infrastructure Manager. Experience in managing a multi-site IS Team. Planning, budgeting, process and service delivery experience; project management and best practice; familiar with various vendor`s hardware, software, network, systems, etc. Strong technical skills in the areas of MS Server technologies (MCSE equivalent): 200(0*3) Server, Exchange 2003, SQL 2000, IIS 6. Thorough understanding of TCP*IP and firewall technologies (preferably all of the following in order of preference: CheckPoint FW-1, MS ISA 2004, Cyberguard). Thorough understanding of BC & DR planning including backup software (preferably BackupExec). Knowledge of LAN & WAN protocols and familiarity with Cisco IOS. Supervisory skills. Driving License. Skills Required Desirable: Knowledge of UNIX & GNU*Linux operating systems and applications. Knowledge of PBX and telephony technologies. Knowledge of MS Live Communications Server.
